| On July 18, 2015 "The 50 House" hosted a Irons Academy class by Real Fire Training. This course focused to strengthen and build on the student's foundational forcible entry skills. Students repeatedly forced doors via a series of door props while using a strengthened systematic approach. We had students attending class from various departments:
-Chesapeake Fire Department
-Portsmouth Fire Department
-Norfolk Fire Department
-York County Fire Department
-Smithfield Vol. Fire Department
-Chuckatuck Vol. Fire Department
-Warrenton Fire Department
-Navy Regional Fire Department
All of us here at "The 50 House" would like to say thank you to all the students who attended class and battled the heat with us to enjoy an awesome day of training. We especially want to say thank you to Real Fire Training and their staff for sharing your knowledge and skills of the fire service and for teaching such a awesome class. |
