At 1655 stations 50 and 60 were dispatched to the intersection of Turner Dr and Scotts Factory Rd for a motorcycle accident with injuries. Rescue 50 responded along with Engine 51 and Asst. Chief Hackney (503). Upon arrival the crew from Rescue 50 assisted Medic 65 with patient care. After a quick assessment it was decided that Nightingale Air Ambulance would be the best means of transport. Engine 51 arrived to set up and secure the landing zone on scene. Rescue 50 assisted with packaging the patient who was transported to Sentara Norfolk General for further treatment.
