BENNS CHURCH BLVD CAR FIRE

At 16:21 units were notified of a vehicle fire at 14041 Benns Church Blvd. Engine 52 with five quickly marked en-route with Chief 501 (Stallings). While en-route dispatch notified the Engine company that a deputy was on scene with a single vehicle with heavy involvement. Brush 50 was also put in service to extinguish a small grass fire not far from the scene thought to have been spawned from the primary event. Engine 52 arrived on scene stretching the 1 3/4" side tray, bringing the fire under control in under 2 minutes. In all units were back in service in 20 minutes.
