November 7 at 14:13hrs, Station 50 was dispatched to a combine on fire in a field near the intersection of Fairway Dr. and Great Springs Rd. Engine 51 and Brush 50 responded and found light smoke coming from the combine and a small area of field on fire. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and had the fire under control within 10 minutes of arrival. Fire was determined to be caused by mechanical issues.
