Every Monday night, the SVFD holds department training for its members, to learn new skills, improve the ones we have and share experiences. Monday, August 22 was no different, Training Chief Jason Koepke, Firefighter Jeremy Asencio and Lt Nick Crumpler reviewed tactics and skills dealing with a coordinated fire attack and outside ventilation. This tactic is a basic skill that allows for rapid fire extinguishment and removal of heat and smoke. The SVFD is always trying to improve to better serve you!!!
