BOWDEN LANE

Engine 52 with 4 FF led by Lt. S.Tate responded to a fire in a truck in the 20000 blk of Bowden Lane on Friday June 24. Arriving to find a well advanced fire in a heavy duty truck, E52 deployed a handline and quickly extinguished the fire. CVFD #10 assisted on scene with water supply and personnel. No injuries were reported.

PALEO POINT LN

SVFD was sent to the 20000 blk of Paleo Point LN along with CVFD 10 for a lawnmower on fire close to the structure at 1159 hrs July 3. Crews from E52, E51 arrived to find a riding lawnmower on fire not impinging on the occupied structure. Crews from both SVFD and CVFD quickly extinguished the fire with no damage to the structure.

SPRING GROVE WAY

July 4 @ 1451 hrs, Spring Grove Way in the Benns Grant section of the county was the scene of a deck fire that had melted the vinyl siding of a residential structure. Luckily an alert nieghbor was able to use a garden hose and contain the spreading fire until units from SVFD and CVFD 10 arrived on scene and successfully mitigated the incident.
