| Rainy, wet conditions lead to stations 50 and 60 being paged to Benns Church Blvd for a 2 car accident with injuries. Chief 501 (Stallings) and Rescue 50 marked enroute along with Medic 64. Chief 501 arrived on scene first to find 2 vehicles with heavy damage, also advising Rescue 50 of the possible need for extrication. Medic 64 and Rescue 50 arrived shortly after. After a quick assessment, crews helped the driver of the vehicle out of the car under their own power. Due to the severity of the accident one patient was transported to an area hospital for observation. |
