On 12/17/21 at 1145 hours station 50 and station 60 were dispatched for an MVA with possible entrapment on the Route 10 bypass. Engine 51, Rescue 50 and Chief 503 responded from quarters. ES2 and ES4 arrived on scene to find a single vehicle on its roof with one pt confirmed trapped . Engine 51, Rescue 50 arrived on scene and went to work stabilizing the vehicle, removing the drivers side door gaining access to the pt . Crews then removed the pt. from the vehicle and EMS began pt care. Pt was transported by IOW medic unit to a local trauma center.

Tragically the pt. succumbed to their injuries. The members of the SVFD wish to extend our thoughts and prayers to the pt. and family.
