Companies turned out at 2115 hrs on March 20 to Wood Duck Crescent in Carrollton VFD (10) first due. First arriving Carrollton units had smoke showing with a reported fire around the furnace. Smithfield E51, E52, T50 and 502 (Gray) arrived on scene and went to work as ordered by command. The fire was placed under control approx 30 minutes later with considerable damage to the interior. No injuries were reported, unfortunately one family pet succumbed.
