50 Fights First Due Garage Fire

At 1701 hrs , an alarm of fire was transmitted for a reported garage fire in the 17000 blk of Bowling Green Rd in 50s first due area.
Units enroute reported smoke showing from Turner Dr., 509 ( Capt. Drewery) arrived, assume command and found a 15 x 30 garage with heavy smoke showing and fire out the "Charlie Side". Engine 52 (Lt. Tate) quickly arrived and dropped two 1 3/4" lines and began fire attack. Water supply was established with Carrollton Tanker 10 (Chief S. Brower). Additional crews arrived and performed the necessary tasks to bring the fire under control and extinguished within 40 minutes. Damage was contained to the garage and no injuries reported.
