Engine Company goes Mutual Aid to Surry County

At 5:05pm a tanker from Rushmere Station 30 was requested by Surry county for a working structure fire. Surry updated their request requesting additional manpower. Tanker 30 and Engine 32 responded. Engine 52 (Lt. Asencio) with a crew of four and 502 (Deputy Chief Gray) moved up to Station 30 to stage and were ultimately called to the scene. E52 and 502 operated on scene with Surry, Dendron, and Clearmont for approximately 3 hours.
