Smithfield 503 (Savage) arrived and assumed command with heavy fire conditions in an old vacant one story structure. Access to the structure and a no water zone presented a challenge as crews began fire suppression operations under Smithfield 501 (Stallings) direction. Water supply was established, searches were negative and the fire was brought under control and extinguished with no injuries reported.
