Station 50, 60, and 10 were paged out for smoke in a residence at 1924. Engine 53, Truck 50 and Rescue 50 arrived to find light smoke in the living room area. Smoke also started appearing from the crawl space vents. Further investigation showed a working fire under the floor in the living room and entry hallway. Engine 10 arrived and established RIT and backup positions. The crawl space was not accessible from the exterior. Large areas of the floor in the two fire rooms had to be cut out in order to extinguish and overhaul the fire. Units were on scene for three hours. Most fire damage was contained to the ventilation ducting, electrical wiring and insulation below the floor.

Units: Engine 53, Truck 50, Rescue 50, Car 51, Support 50 and Medic 63.
