This afternoon Station 50 was request by Station 10 to assist with a boater in distress. Initial reports had a 22 foot boat taking on water at the mouth of the Pagan River with 2 people on board. Brush 50 with Boat 50 in tow responded with Engine 51 to Rescue Yacht Marina to launch. With 3 members on board Boat 50 searched for the disabled boat with Smithfield PD and VA Marine Police. The boat was located and found to have taken on a large amount of water. Boat 50 deploy a portable water pump and a one member to the disable vessel to assist while the boat was towed to show. All station 50 units cleared shortly after.
