Today we moved a step closer to putting Engine 51 on the road. We invited town officials, members, and the county board of directors to take part in a moment that has been 3 year in the making. Chief Stallings expressed his thanks and explained how this state of the art apparatus will help us better protect our community. After the ribbon was cut, a tour of the apparatus was given to those in attendance. Training on the truck will begin next week and Engine 51 should go in service January 18th.
