| At approximately 8:20pm companies from 50,40, and 60 were alerted for a House on fire on Jones Town Drive. Engine 50 was on the street within 2 minutes with a full crew. Dispatch was receiving multiple calls for a house on fire and shortly after Chief Carroll (601) arrived on scene to find a double wide home with fire through out. This update called for Ivor Fire to be added to the assignment along with tankers from Windsor and Rushmere for water supply. Chief Stallings (501) arrived just ahead of E-50 and assumed command while the engine went to work stretching lines and setting up for water supply. Initial operations consisted of an aggressive attack and transitioned to defensive due to the amount of fire and water supply issues. All companies worked together to bring the fire under control. |
