Tonights training was a simulated drill on a firefighter who fell through a collapsed floor and was trapped. Crews of four were trained on two different techniques that could be used in this type of situation to rescue the down firefighter. The first technique the crews worked together and used the double horseshoe technique using their charged hoseline to rescue the down firefighter. The second technique crews had to work together doing a firefighter below grade rope rescue. The class was taught by Captain Denny West and L.T. Jason Koepke with a fantastic turn out of members.
