While you remember to roll back your clock this weekend for daylight savings time, Sunday, November 1st, don't forget to change the batteries in all your smoke detectors. This should be done twice a year, in the spring and fall, to ensure your smoke detectors work if you should ever need them. Just remember if you change your clock, change your batteries! While you have your smoke detectors down be sure to clean them from any dust or debris. Also check the manufacturer date on the back of the detector or inside the battery compartment. You may not know, but smoke detector have a working life of 10 years. So if your manufacturer is before October 28, 2005 its time to replace your detectors. Thanks for your continued support and have a happy and safe Halloween!
