At approx 00:58:56 hrs Sunday Morning the SVFD responded to a report of smoke showing from a residence located at 113 Acacia Cir in Downtown Smithfield. LT. J. Asencio arrived on SVFD Eng 51 and reported smoke showing from Side A Divisions 2 and 3. Eng 51 went to work in Fire Attack Mode as Truck 51 handled ventilation operations on the structure. Chief Hackney arrived to take command of the incident at 01:03 hrs. Per Command, the crew of CVFD Engine 10 performed a primary search and gave an all clear. The fire started and was confined to the kitchen area thanks to the efforts of responding personnel. All occupants exited the structure unharmed. Units cleared at 02:14 hrs.
