Two Saved From Fiery Wreck

Shortly after 11 pm Station 50 and 60 were notified of a single vehicle accident on Turner Dr near Hollydale Ln. Additional reports came of the vehicle being on fire with 2 subjects trapped. Rescue 50 and Engine 51 responded. Chief 504 (Gray) was first arriving marking off with a single vehicle into a tree with heavy damage and on fire, 2 patient trapped inside and unconscious. Engine 51 was assigned fire attack on arrival and made quick work of the fire before it reached the inside of the vehicle. Rescue 50 removed both patients from the vehicle and transferred patient care to medics from station 60. Both patient were transported to local trauma center for further treatment. Rescue 50 remained on scene to assist Virginia State Police with the accident investigation.
