Preparations for Truck Class 2017 continued despite a busy Saturday March 18 which began in the early morning hours. SVFD units started early with 3 runs before 0900 to include 2 EMS assists and an MVA with possible entrapment in the second due. Work began after breakfast on props but the calls kept coming. 3 more MVA calls throughout the afternoon slowed progress slightly but alot of work was accomplished by the dedicated members and instructors. The afternoon work ended but shortly afterward crews were responding to a first due working structural fire with heavy fire on arrival. We look forward to the Annual Truck Class which will be held April 21-23, 2017.
