On Sunday Oct 30 at approx. 1135 hrs, Smithfield units along with Carrollton VFD Station 10 and Chuckatuck VFD Station 9 (Suffolk) were alerted to a structural fire in the 15000 block of Woodland Dr. Engine 51 reported heavy smoke enroute and arrived to find a tractor fully involved near 2 silos. Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack, controlling and extinguishing fire before any extension to the silos. Smithfield 504 (Edwards) had the command and units cleared and returned to service within 2 hours
