At 07:01 Station 50, 10, 60 were notified of a residential structure on Windsor Avenue, Station 50's first due. Engine 51, Truck 50, Chief 502 (Hackney), 503 (Savage) all responded. Engine 51 arrived first with smoke and fire showing from the rear of a single residential dwelling. The crew entered with a 1 3/4" line and found heavy fire spreading from the kitchen into a back room. Engine company extinguished the fire and proceed to overhaul. In all crews operated for 1 hour prior to clearing.
