By Captain Jason Koepke
March 9, 2015

We would like to take a moment to thank the following organizations that helped to make the 2015 Truck Company Operations Class a success:

- Isle Of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad ( Station 60) for providing a medic and a standby crew.
- Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department ( Station 10) for providing Quint 10 and a instructor.
- Chesapeake fire Department for allowing the use of Ladder 2 during the Sunday evolutions.
- Virginia Beach Fire Department for allowing us to use their training facility on Sunday.
- Tailboard Training for providing student class shirts for attending the class and a instructor for the class.
- Blue Ridge Rescue Suppliers for providing equipment and gifts that were raffled off to the students.
- Atlantic Emergency Solutions for providing equipment and gifts that were raffled off to the students.
- Chuckatuck Volunteer Fire Department ( Station 9) for providing Instructors for the class.

We of course would like to thank Matt Verlaque ( Chillum-Adelphi Vol. Fire Department), Shane Young ( Chillum-Adelphi Vol. Fire Department) and Mike " Big Mike" Elston ( Kentland 33 Vol. Fire Department) for coming down and sharing their knowledge and experience with the class. We look forward to having these guys back next year.

Most importantly, we sincerely appreciate those individuals that chose to spend their free time with us over the course of the weekend. It was a lot of fun for us to meet new people that share the same passion for the fire service. You will ALWAYS be welcome here at " THE 50 HOUSE".

More photos of the class are available in the Photo/Video section under training.
