- Applicants must be
18 years of age
- Must have a
High School Diploma (G.E.D. is OK)
- A Smithfield Volunteer Fire
Department application will be completed and turned into
the 2nd Vice President.
- Candidates will submit & PASS a
criminal history background
investigation
- Candidates will submit & PASS a
drug screen
- Support Services members are required
to provide the department with
40 (forty)
hours of service
per year.
- All Support Services Members will
need a sponsor from a full member of the department.
(Obtained after the application has been read before the
department)
- This is a
non-firefighting membership
