"JP" MEMORY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
JP Memory II, 19 years old,
was a FireFighter with the Carrollton Volunteer Fire
Department who died in the line of duty while performing a
vehicle extrication demonstration at Franklin's Patriot's
Day Parade. JP was well known throughout Isle of Wight
County's Emergency Services. He was a member of the CVFD for
only three years and in that short time, was awarded the
Chief's Award (2004) and FireFighter of the Year (2005). JP
was a very dedicated member to the CVFD and to the County.
He will live on in our hearts forever.
