The fire service is a constantly changing profession and the volunteers of the Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department are committed to meeting the demands of this challenging job. With the recent adoption of changes such as our associate membership program, support services program and department live-ins, the Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department is doing everything it can to make sure that the residents of the Town of Smithfield and Isle of Wight County are receiving the highest quality fire protection services possible. There are big plans in store for the SVFD in the years to come. |
